I agree most vehemently with the comment on showing achievements. As an executive recruiter I am astonished that it is often difficult to distinguish a seasoned professional from a junior counterpart. The only tip off....the number of years spanned in over the jobs listed.
My other pet peeve is achievements that can't be talked about with confidence. It just makes me wonder. It's not only a candidate's reputation on the line when a story is at play, but mine as well. Err on the side of sleeping with ease. Tell the truth.
